Article 1 (Application)

These Terms set forth the conditions for using the travel-planning service “Sarutabiko” (the “Service”) provided by the Company, as agreed between the user and the Company. Users shall use the Service only after agreeing to these Terms.

Article 2 (Accounts)

Users may create an account through authentication such as Google or Apple. Users shall manage their account at their own responsibility and shall not allow any third party to use it.

Article 3 (Paid Membership and Billing)

Some features of the Service are provided to paid (premium) members. • Purchases within the iOS app are auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Cancellation can be done from your Apple ID settings. • Purchases on the Web are monthly auto-renewing subscriptions through Stripe. Cancellation can be done from the payment management (customer portal) on the membership page. Details of pricing, renewal, and cancellation conditions follow each purchase screen and the Legal Notice based on the Specified Commercial Transactions Act (/tokushoho).

Article 4 (Affiliate Links)

The Service contains links based on affiliate programs such as Rakuten Travel and ValueCommerce (booking paths for lodging and experiences). The Company may receive compensation when a booking is completed via such links. Transaction terms at the linked destinations follow each respective provider.

Article 5 (Prohibited Acts)

Users shall not engage in acts that violate laws or public order and morals, infringe the rights of others, interfere with the operation of the Service, or involve unauthorized access.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information posted on the Service. To the extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service (see also the Disclaimer at /disclaimer).

Article 7 (Changes to the Terms)

The Company may change these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms take effect when posted on this page.

Article 8 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and any dispute relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive agreed jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Company's location as the court of first instance.
